Clarity & Progress
The individuals and families below share their experiences working with Samia and applying Cognitive Clarity™ to navigate real challenges — in their own words.
Working with Samia changed how I think about my son's communication. She helped us see his strengths first, then built a plan that actually fit our family. For the first time, we felt like we had a real roadmap — not just a list of deficits.
Values Arbitration™ gave me a framework I didn't know I needed. I was overwhelmed by decisions at every level — professionally and personally. Samia helped me slow down, organize my thinking, and move forward with real confidence.
I came to Samia struggling with attention, planning, and staying organized after my TBI. She didn't just teach me strategies — she helped me understand my own brain. I feel more capable and more like myself again.
As a school-based SLP, I brought Samia in to train our team on neurodiversity-affirming AAC practice. The impact was immediate. Our team shifted how we talk about students, how we write goals, and how we partner with families.
Samia helped me work through a major career transition using the Cognitive Clarity framework. I had all the information — I just couldn't see through the noise. Our sessions brought structure to what felt like chaos.
My daughter was nonverbal and I didn't know where to begin. Samia met us where we were. Her approach was warm, evidence-based, and genuinely person-centered. Watching my daughter communicate for the first time — I can't put that into words.
Cognitive CCT LLC
Samia previously founded Cognitive Coaching & Communication Therapy (Cognitive CCT LLC). The practice focused on executive functioning strategies, cognitive communication therapy, communication organization and strategy, and supporting individuals navigating cognitively complex situations.
Through this work she began identifying patterns in how people struggle with information overload, fragmented communication, and complex systems. These observations eventually led to the development of Cognitive Clarity and the Values Arbitration method.
